Are you a small-scale farmer who's thinking of adding a seedling sale to your farm, or are you already selling seedlings but want to up your game? Come to Groundwork Market Garden on Saturday, April 5th from noon to 2 pm to get a tour of the farm's seedling production system and hear from Madison Rios from Groundwork Market Garden, Katie Pfohl from Massachusetts Avenue Project, and Laura Colligan of Dirt Rich Farm, all of who grow annual plants from seed for sale to home gardeners. Light refreshments will follow the tour. Whether you're looking for a stream of spring income to add to your existing vegetable farm or you just want the focus of your operation to be on growing seedlings, there is a strong demand among gardeners for local, organic, and heirloom seedlings!
